La Ventana enjoys a superb location within the castle walls, a short walk from everything, including the port, with many guests highlighting the convenience for exploring the old city. You can enjoy a unique and authentic experience in this charming building. Some guests have mentioned the hilly surroundings may not be suitable for everyone. The rooms are generally spacious and some feature lovely balconies overlooking the quaint square, and some even have a four-poster bed.
the building displayed a beautiful, authentic style. the staff were accommodating, exceeding expectations with their friendliness and helpfulness. i found the location excellent, offering convenient access to nearby attractions and a quiet retreat after a busy day (a real plus!).
i noticed some minor maintenance work near the entrance .

pamela at reception was super friendly and efficient. she provided helpful information and assistance with a smile. her really good management skills ensured a very smooth and pleasant stay.
The location was perfect, right inside the old walls. I had a nice view out of my window. Mornings were quiet and peaceful. The hotel seemed like a unique, older hotel, a welcome change from the busy areas below. The reception staff was friendly, and this.
The TV in my room didn't seem to pick up any channels. It might have been a subscription issue.

Although there is no formal restaurant, several restaurants surround the hotel. These are located in the immediate area and offered diverse menus. I found local cuisine was amazing!!!

The rooftop terrace gave really great views of the area. It was especially nice in the evening. I saw it had some seating and tables available .
Service

The hotel provided attentive service. Staff members were available at the reception, assisting with questions and requests.
The hotel has an excellent location inside the castle walls near the top. There was a nice view out of my window. It seemed like an older, unique neighborhood away from the busy areas.
The hotel took payment for breakfasts twice from me. I paid 28 euros with my card, though my wife had to pay 28 euros in cash when she returned the room key. Unfortunately, it wasn't suitable for people who have any problem walking. There are so many steps and hills to get to the hotel.

the location was great and the staff welcomed me well.
I found the room quite dusty. Some lamps didn't work, a bit annoying as i wanted to read at night. the humidity smell was also quite strong, and the shower was small with an old curtain. i really think they could improve the cleanliness and update the shower.
